Jeanne Grant

My name is Jeanne and I am an Australian living and working in Hoi AN Vietnam. In my home country, I am a qualified social worker and family therapist working for the Victorian Government with abused children. I have been doing this kind of work for over 20 years and I love working with children and families.

I have been volunteering from January 2016 and I am now supporting CHIA staff in family therapy and help out with marketing and communications. It is CHIA’s goal to train and employ Vietnamese staff to conduct this role so CHIA can continue to reach more disadvantaged children in the community.

It is a pleasure and an honor to work with this great organization and the staff and children. The greatest job satisfaction is that I can make a direct difference in a child’s life, which is an amazing feeling.
