Peter Quinn

I found CHIA through Intrepid Travel and Blue Dragon Children’s Foundation. It followed a month of searching in Cambodia and Vietnam for a charity that I felt would match my skills. I had previously worked as a volunteer in East Timor assisting a regional school and orphanage following the country’s struggle for independence. Having recently retired from full time teaching, I felt it was time to give more rather than just working for wages. As a self funded volunteer at CHIA, I am free to set my own time frame here. I enjoy being part of the children’s physical and cognitive devolopment. I have thoroughly enjoyed working along side an Australian O.T. and learning how to assist children with disabilities. I look forward to a long association with CHIA and its wonderful local staff.
